Netroots Mayhem In The Midwest

Mark Pera, good Democrat; Dan Lipinski, "bad Democrat." That's the word from Kingpin Kos as he is again trying to rally support for Pera in his Illinois race to unseat Lipinski from Congress. The vote is in three weeks.

"Our goal is 5,000 total contributions to Mark Pera on ActBlue over the next week or so (about 2,700 new ones)," Kos said. "We'll be joined by other blogs, so it's a team netroots-wide effort." Open Left is part of the fundraising drive.

At least Kos is fighting fair in Illinois' Democratic primary. In Michigan, he's being manipulative by trying to run Democratic interference in the Republican presidential primary -- and he's proud of it.

DKos at least isn't either A) stupid or B) dishonest.

Michigan has an open primary. Anyone can vote for anyone there.
